About Us
Our History
Originally founded in 2010 as Utility Datacenter, UDC has been providing managed hosting services for over 13 years. UDC was originally spun off from a Virtualization Consulting company based in CT (Flytrap Technologies), with it's first fully owned and managed datacenter built on top of an historic granite building originally used as a wool factory. As our services and client base expanded we moved much of our datacenter operations to MA, where they have remained. As new public clouds (AWS, Azure) grew in popularity, we created our own automation portal to allow our customers to adopt a multi-cloud strategy, leveraging UDC's private cloud infrastructure combined with AWS and Azure global public cloud capabilities.
With our services evolving into multi-cloud automation, cybersecurity and end user applications, we decided our name should reflect that.
We are now Ur Digital Cloud.

UDC was founded on the principle that we are in this for the long haul. We don't focus on "Deals", we focus on customer success. By making that a company priority, we are never in a position to provide advice that is not in our customers' best interest, as their success is our success.
